This type of work is not always simply down to choice or preference however, and sometimes a person is unable to have the procedure done due to a variety of factors. Smokers often have bone that is weakened and therefore unable to secure the root or have the prosthetic tooth attached. Dental implants are a long term solution to restoring loose or missing teeth. They last many decades without any problems. You have to look after your teeth well if you want to reduce the chance of having further work carried out. When it comes to cost, it is likely to be around Ј1500 to Ј3000 per tooth. There is always the chance that further work will be needed in the future so you should try and factor that into the budget before deciding to have this work done.
