Pheromone Cologne - Does it Work to Attract Others? by Alicia McWilliams

Pheromone cologne is one way that people use to attract others through the sense of smell. When we are attracted to others, we give off a scent. This is picked up by others and the chemical reaction is caused by human pheromones. This duplicates this chemical reaction for us and can be used to attract others to us.

You have probably had a situation where you were attracted to another individual, although you did not know what it was about them that attracted you. Many people have this type of situation happen to them. They will be at a loss as to why they were attracted to the other person. They might not be very physically attractive or even have a great personality. In many cases, it is chemistry at work. In some cases, it may be the pheromone cologne that they are wearing.

Studies have indicated that pheromone cologne does work to attract others. A group study was done that let half of the people in the study use pheromone cologne while the other half used an ordinary spray. None of the people in the group knew if they were wearing the pheromone cologne or not. Those who were wearing the pheromone cologne were much more likely to attract others than those who work the ordinary spray by 3 to 1. It was clear, from this study, done by the University of West Virginia on college students, that the pheromone cologne was more than just a nice scent.

When we are excited by something, or attracted to another individual,, we give off a special scent, called pheromones. This is a chemical reaction to the excitement and is prevalent in all mammals. Other human beings can pick up on this scent, although it is very subtle and they will not know why they are reaction. The bottom line is that human pheromones cause a reaction in others, which is why pheromone cologne is such an useful way to attract others. Most people who are attracted to the pheromone cologne will not know why they are attracted to the person. We are still not sure why some people seem to hit it off while others do not. This is not always due to physical attraction or personality - many scientists believe that this is a chemical reaction. We often cite chemistry as a reason as to why we are attracted to others. This chemistry is caused by pheromones.
