Effective Remedies for Ringworm Extermination by Preston Blackmore


All people can get infected with ringworms regardless of age, sex, and socio-economic status. Anyone can contract the fungal infection when exposed to a dermatophyte contaminated article or area, and through direct contact from an infected person or animal. There are a lot of effective ringworm remedies that will help you exterminate the fungi. Here are some of the ringworm remedies that will help you solve your ringworm problem:

- Use bleach to clean your clothes and environment. Bleach is cheap and readily available. This is very effective in killing fungi. But this should not be directly administered on the skin because it can cause irritation or allergic reactions, and if it is absorbed it can cause lung damage. You just have to use bleach in cleaning clothes and home environment. It is recommended to dilute the bleach, 1:10 or 1:100 solution in water can be used. Bleach is a good disinfectant that will keep your things and environment clean.

- Wipe your sweat. Dermatophytes thrive well in warm and moist areas of your body, which include groin, armpits, and other areas of the body that have folds. When you sweat, make sure you wipe it out or change a clean and dry clothing to prevent the growth of fungi.

- Apply fresh papaya slice. A fresh papaya slice is an effective remedy for ringworms. Apply the papaya slice thoroughly on the ringworm patch. You can also use a papaya paste from crushed papaya seed with water. Apply it over the ringworm patch, let it dry, and then rinse it off. Application should be done twice a day for 30 days.

- Use mustard paste. Ground mustard seeds and then mix it with water. Wash the ringworm with warm water then apply the mustard paste over it. Allow the paste to dry, and rinse it with cool water.

- Administer basil paste. Basil paste or an extract of basil is an effective ringworm remedy. Apply the extract over the affected area twice a day for 30 days.

- Application of cassia paste. Crush the cassia leaves to form a fine paste. Apply the cassia paste over the ringworm for 15 days.

- Use turmeric extract. The turmeric should be crushed to extract its juice. The turmeric should be applied over the ringworm, and then take a teaspoon of turmeric extract with a teaspoon of honey.

- Drink a fresh vegetable juice. Carrot and spinach juice are effective in treating ringworm. You should drink 300 ml of carrot juice and 200 ml of spinach juice, a total of 500 ml of vegetable juice everyday for 30 days.

- Apply butea paste. Pound fresh butea seeds and then combine with some lime juice to produce a paste. Apply the butea paste over the affected site, and let it dry. Remove the dried paste using water.

- Using sulfur. Sulfur is one of the oldest fungicides and efficacious in treating ringworms.

- Application of coconut oil. Apply the coconut oil over the ringworm patch. This will alleviate the itchiness and will help eradication of the ringworm.
